Manifesto
We believe that AI slop is damaging credibility and trust in digital content. We believe that AI slop is crowding out human work and destroying established creative workflows. We believe that AI slop, is undermining the potential benefits to mankind that alternate uses of AI could bring. We believe that the processes involved in creation of AI slop squanders and misappropriates huge quantities of valuable energy-, computing- and land resources.
We also believe that mindboggling resources are not required to generate slop: Humans are quite capable of creating slop without the aid of AI, and have done so for a very long time. Moreover, the human brain consumes a mere 20 Watt or so in the process of doing so.
This website caters to people who feel a need to consume slop, but are uneasy about the resource requirements and the questionable ethics involved with creation slop using AI. Every story on this website is created by a flesh and blood human. The following is our solemn promise to you, the reader:
- No AI has been involved in the creation of any of the content, including the stories.
- All the stories are pure, unadulterated slop, written by humans.
- All pages are pure HTML/CSS and are "hand generated", and no AI-code "helpers" were used to create this website.
